Laptop performance so much effect if it start heating. To make good and smooth working, you have to cooled it and maintain its internal temperature otherwise it start hanging, not responding or causes your laptop shutdown .To protect your laptop from overheating first all you need to do it check it’s temperature so that when internal temperature rise you do some task to cool down it. External Fan is also a good way to maintain the laptop temp but I found myself two method which suite me and I’m using first of all CUP Fan Speed second Core temp.

CPU FAN SPEED

Core Temp
Core temp is software which show temperate on CPU Core , CUP Load and Memory consume by RAM .and much more option related to it you can find in it. If your core temp rose to 90 to 100 and you still using laptop, your laptop will warm too much internally and cause to shut down, you can also smell burning metal near its exact fan. To protect it from overheating and shut down how to do it watch these steps , your core temp run task manager at specific temp set by you and kill that process on task manager which causing too many problems , like many CPU cycles or taking too much memory , not responding

Step 1: User left double click on "Load: 14% (button)"

Step 2: User left click on "Tools (menu item)" in "Core Temp 1.0 RC6"  Step 3User left click on "Options (menu item)" in "Core Temp 1.0 RC6"

 Step 4: User left click on "Options (menu item)" in "Core Temp 1.0 RC6"
 Step 5 User left click on "Overheat protection (menu item)"  

Step 6: User mouse drag start on "Overheat Protection Settings (dialog)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"  

Step 7: User mouse drag end on "Overheat Protection Settings (dialog)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"  


Step 8: User left click on "Enable overheat protection (check box)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"  

Step 9: User mouse drag start on "Overheat Protection Settings (dialog)" in "Overheat Protection Settings" 
 Step 10: User mouse drag end on "Settings (group)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"

Step 11: User keyboard input on "Overheat Protection Settings (dialog)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
 
Step 12: User mouse drag start on "Overheat Protection Settings (dialog)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
In Browse button click on it and go to window/system32 and find taskmanger.exe program and set it. And in adjust specific temperature set its value 80. Task manager open at this temp automatically.
Step 13: User mouse drag end on "Settings (group)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 14: User left double click on "Balloon popup (check box)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 15: User left click on "Flash Core Temp at the taskbar (check box)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 16: User left click on "Flash Core Temp at the taskbar (check box)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 17: User mouse drag start on "Execute program: (edit)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 18: User left click on "Enable (check box)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 19: User left click on "Power down (radio button)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 20: User left click on "Hibernate (radio button)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
Step 21: User left click on "Enable (check box)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"

Step 22: User left click on "OK (button)" in "Overheat Protection Settings"
